Data Deletion Instructions
How to disconnect Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) accounts and request deletion of data stored by Glitz Miami Lifestyle OS.
Glitz Miami Lifestyle OS ("Lifestyle OS") is operated by B&F Publishing / D&T Publishing. If you connected a Meta account (Facebook, Instagram Business, or Threads) through OAuth, this page explains how to disconnect access and request deletion of data we store about you, as required by Meta Platform policies.
What Data We Store
When you authorize Lifestyle OS via Meta OAuth, we may store:
- Your Meta user ID, name, and email (when provided by Meta)
- Facebook Page IDs, names, and linked Instagram / Threads profile metadata
- Encrypted OAuth access tokens used to publish on your behalf
- Posts, captions, media, and scheduling data you create in the posting queue
- Basic engagement metrics for posts published through the app (when authorized)
We do not receive or store your Meta/Facebook password. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Option 1 — Disconnect in Lifestyle OS (Recommended)
The fastest way to revoke our access and remove stored OAuth tokens is to disconnect directly in the app:
- Sign in to Lifestyle OS at your organization's URL (e.g. lifestyle-os.glitzmiami.com).
- Go to Social Media → Social Accounts.
- Find the connected Meta account (Facebook Page, Instagram, or Threads) and click Disconnect.
Disconnecting immediately revokes our OAuth access with Meta and deletes the associated access tokens from our systems. Scheduled posts tied to that account will no longer publish.
Option 2 — Revoke via Meta / Facebook Settings
You can also remove Lifestyle OS from your Meta account without signing into our platform:
- Open Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find Glitz Miami Social (or the app name shown during authorization).
- Select Remove to revoke access.
After you remove the app in Meta settings, contact us (below) if you also want queue content and account metadata deleted from our servers.
Option 3 — Request Full Data Deletion by Email
To request deletion of all personal data we hold related to your Meta connection — including account metadata, posting queue items, and any stored engagement data — email us at Glitz_Miami@bandfpublishing.com with:
- Subject line: Meta Data Deletion Request
- The email address associated with your Meta/Facebook account
- The Facebook Page name or Instagram username you connected (if known)
- A brief statement that you want your Lifestyle OS data deleted
We will verify your identity (typically by confirming the email matches our records or your Meta account) before processing the request.
Deletion Timeline
Per Meta's data deletion requirements:
- Disconnect / token removal: Immediate when you disconnect in Lifestyle OS or remove the app in Meta settings.
- Email deletion requests: We acknowledge within 3 business days and complete deletion of identifiable personal data within 30 days of verification, unless a longer period is required by law or for legitimate backup retention (backups are purged on their normal cycle, typically within 90 days).
We will send a confirmation email when deletion is complete. Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics and service improvement.
Meta Data Deletion Callback
If Meta sends a data deletion request on your behalf (signed request from the Meta platform), we process it automatically and return a confirmation code and status URL as required by Meta's platform policy. You may also use the email option above for direct requests.
